A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, born on October 15, 1931, in Rameswaram, Tamil Nadu, was an Indian aerospace scientist who served as the 11th President of India from 2002 to 2007. Known as the "People's President," he was a prominent figure in India's space and defense programs, notably contributing to the development of India's missile technology. He passed away on July 27, 2015, while delivering a lecture.
